Heat Treatment Equipment

Thermal Hire has produced gas fired heat treatment equipment, for both sale and hire, for some 35 years including high velocity gas burners and the associated burner control trains and safety supervision. 

We are therefore highly experienced in manufacturing methods and systems.  This experience has more recently been allied to the manufacture of electrical resistance consumables and plant.  As Thermal Hire has been engaged in the supply of site contracting services using electrical resistance methods for many years, it has a comprehensive understanding of the design requirements and the needs of the industry.

The design of the new electrical resistance heat treatment equipment, thermal Systems, includes dedicated 50kVA and 65kVA low voltage heat treatment power/control units.  The system also embraces automatic programmers, temperature recording and temperature measurement equipment.  Also offered is a wide range of heaters and pads, cable sets, insulation, and many ancillary items/spare parts.

The design of the plant, thermal Systems, has many new innovative features that have fully taken into account the key factors of–

• health and safety requirements,
• fitness for purpose for on-site and workshop activities,
• the selection of available materials and components,
• ease of maintenance and
• economy

The plant that we offer is compatible with most current electrical resistance heating systems.  We also offer services to repair, maintain and supply equipment to your current plant design.
